Harsh Singh Lohit

Mr. Lohit is the Managing Director responsible for Headstrong's Global Delivery Centers in India and the Philippines. As a 22-year veteran of the IT software services industry, he has been the chief architect of Headstrong's global distributed consulting strategy and is currently responsible for the careers, abilities and customer delivery of the 2,400 workforce across these centers.

Prior to his current assignment, Mr. Lohit was Founder and CEO of TechSpan India Limited (from 1998) which merged with Headstrong in October 2003. Mr. Lohit's was previously with IIS Infotech in Delhi (now a part of Steria Ltd) as Chief Operating Officer (1995-1998), and prior to that with CMC Limited (1988-1995) as Head of International Markets.

Mr. Lohit has a proven track record of setting up motivated and high caliber leadership teams in the IT services industry; establishing software development centers from scratch to scale; starting new businesses; and building company competencies as diverse as enterprise technology and domain solutions, IT education to multimedia design. He is a passionate advocate of the values of openness, teamwork, performance and excellence in the workplace, and actively contributes to various industry forums in India. He is currently the chair of the NASSCOM Regional Council for NOIDA, India's premier trade association for the IT industry.

Mr. Lohit completed his Bachelor of Science studies from Delhi University, and holds an MBA in Finance from University of Rhode Island (USA) from where he graduated with Beta Gamma Sigma honors. He is an avid reader of management literature, comparative religion, history and contemporary politics; an amateur photographer and traveler; and is married to Rabab with one son Zayn (1992).
