What you do:
• Manage project plan, milestones, and all project deliverables
• Interview SMEs, understand detail tasks, and create detail project plans. Track to plan for all work streams. Coordinate with teams for data generation dependencies across production applications
• Coordinate with multiple teams. Manage worskstream dependencies, issues and risks
• Manage project and status reporting and financials
Required Skills:
• Strong project management experience is a must
• Data or Infrastructure project management experience (as opposed to application development project management)
• The candidate should be detail oriented, have strong organizational skills, and also have strong communication skills. Experience running projects that span multiple groups (5 or more) with resource counts in the 50s
• Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Project
• Financial experience is required; some Retail Brokerage experience is a plus
• 5-8 years of experience running large projects
• Technology: zOS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, Flat files, CICS, DB2 utilities, SQL, TSO/ISPF, NDM, File-Aid, ChangeMan, IDCAMS, IBM Utilities
• Applications Experience: Core Brokerage, Financial or Banking
