About the speakers

Dayle Scher is a Research Director in the Investment Management research service at TowerGroup, where she analyzes processes, messaging standards, and technologies impacting the investment management market. Her research covers a variety of functions in the back and middle office, including trade processing, portfolio accounting, data management, and reconciliation.

Ashley Duva is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of SGA. She is responsible for the compliance, operations and trading of the firm. Ms. Duva gained 8 years Operations experience at Charles Schwab & Co., mainly within their Managed Account Services group. While working within the Managed Account Services group at Schwab she held various managerial roles in Operations, Project Management, Product Development and Sales, to create system infrastructure, operational efficiencies and to launch new Managed Account products, most notably the Managed Account Select®, Managed Account Access® and Schwab Managed Portfolios platforms.

Patrick Schena is Principal, Investment Management Services, at Headstrong, where he leads investment operations and outsourcing initiatives. Prior to joining Headstrong, Patrick was managing partner of iX Partners, an investment technology and services company which he co-founded in 2000.
